Randstad Digital Germany is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic team in Hamburg. As a leading provider of custom software development and consulting services, we are dedicated to enabling digital transformation for our clients. Key Responsibilities
- Application Development: Lead the design and development of innovative applications using microservices architecture with Java and Spring Boot.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Ensure high code quality through modern development methodologies such as Clean Code principles and Test-Driven Development.
- CI/CD Optimization: Enhance the software development process by implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices to improve overall solution quality.
- Database Management: Work with both relational and NoSQL databases, as well as event-based systems like Kafka.
- Client Consulting: Advise clients on optimizing backend systems, whether on-premise or in the cloud.
Qualifications
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Extensive experience in developing and maintaining middleware and backend systems in agile teams.
- Proficiency in modern software crafting methods, including Clean Code and Test-Driven Development.
- Strong expertise in Java technologies and frameworks such as Spring Boot and Jakarta EE.
- Experience in designing and developing RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Advanced knowledge of GIT, Jira, and CI tools like Jenkins and Gitlab-CI.
- Fluent in German and proficient in English.
- Agile mindset with a strong focus on quality and teamwork.
