About Hippo Scribe
At Hippo Scribe, we understand the challenges faced by clinicians, particularly physical therapists, who are burdened with extensive documentation tasks. Our goal is to alleviate this burden by providing a solution that allows clinicians to focus on what they do best: treating patients. By leveraging the power of Large Language Models (LLMs), we aim to reduce the time spent on administrative tasks and improve the overall efficiency of healthcare providers.
Your Role
As the first full stack engineer at Hippo Scribe, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our product. You will be responsible for developing and deploying features quickly, ensuring that our technology meets the needs of our users. Your work will directly impact the lives of clinicians and patients by streamlining the documentation process.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using NextJS, TypeScript, and React.
- Build and manage backend services with Node.js and Firebase.
- Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud.
- Collaborate with the team to design and implement new features.
- Ensure the scalability and reliability of our applications.
About You
- Proficient in NextJS, TypeScript, React, Node.js, Firebase, and Google Cloud.
- A self-identified "Grug Brained Developer" who can ship features in hours.
- Passionate about user experience and delivering high-quality software.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
