Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer to join our team at Skribled, a company dedicated to enhancing healthcare efficiency through innovative technology. As a Full-Stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in building a cutting-edge pre-visit workflow tool for primary care providers. This tool is designed to streamline the pre-visit planning process, ensuring that each patient visit is as productive and efficient as possible.
Responsibilities
- Design, Develop, and Maintain: You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both the frontend and backend components of our pre-visit workflow tool.
- Collaborate with UX/UI Designers: Work closely with our UX/UI Designer to create an intuitive and visually appealing interface for the Huddle Dashboard.
- Integrate with EPIC EMR System: Ensure seamless integration of the application with the EPIC EMR system, adhering to healthcare data standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members, contribute to cross-functional projects, and provide technical expertise.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the application.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in frontend and backend development.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript and modern web frameworks such as React or Angular. Strong experience with server-side languages like Node.js, Python, or Ruby.
- Healthcare Integration: Experience with EHR/EMR integration, specifically with the EPIC system, and familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR).
- Database Knowledge: Knowledge of both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Couchbase) database technologies.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
