Uprent is a pioneering platform that aims to revolutionize the rental market by significantly reducing the time and effort required to find rental properties. The Role
We are seeking a Founding Full-stack Software Engineer to join our small but dynamic team. As a founding engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our platform. You will work closely with the founders, Alex and Yury, to build and enhance our product, ensuring it meets the needs of our users.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain our web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
- Collaborate with the team to design and implement new features.
- Ensure the scalability and performance of our platform.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to a high-quality codebase.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Requirements
- Strong experience in full-stack development, with proficiency in JavaScript and frameworks like Svelte.
- Familiarity with back-end frameworks such as ElysiaJS and databases like SurrealDB.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building products that users love.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (minimum B2 level).
- EU residence and ability to work remotely with a maximum 3-hour time zone difference from Amsterdam.

- SvelteKit: A lightweight framework for building fast, reactive web applications.
- ElysiaJS: A minimalist, high-performance back-end framework optimized for the Bun runtime.
- SurrealDB: A flexible NoSQL database for managing complex data structures.
- Hosted on Fly.io.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary of 4,000 EUR gross per month.
- Generous equity and stock options, ranging from 0.1% to 5% of the company.
- Contractor agreement signed on Remote.com.
