The Difference You Will Make
As a Fullstack Software Engineer on the Airbnb for Real Estate team, you will have a significant impact on a variety of Airbnb products and users. Your work will involve developing APIs, web, and native clients to drive new and existing features. Collaborating with data scientists and business analysts, you will define and capture real-time event data for business insights and product features. You will also work closely with cross-functional product partners, including product managers, designers, researchers, and quality assurance teams.
Your Expertise
You should have 2-4 years of software development experience, with a focus on backend server languages like Java or Kotlin, and familiarity with storage systems such as relational databases and noSQL. Experience in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment is crucial. Proficiency in web technologies including HTML, CSS, TypeScript, GraphQL, and user interface libraries such as React is expected. Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role, as you will be working with various teams across the organization.
Your Location
This position is remote eligible in the United States, with occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites as agreed with your manager. While the role is remote eligible, residency in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity is required.
