Overview
As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer at BetterUp, you will be a pivotal part of our Core Experiences team, focusing on developing and enhancing our web-based platforms. Your role will involve both front-end and back-end development, ensuring a seamless, intuitive user experience that aligns with our mission of transforming lives through better technology and design.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable, robust web applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the quality of applications through code reviews, maintaining documentation, and automated testing.
- Participate in the product road mapping process, contributing insights and ideas that drive product development.
- Provide production support, troubleshooting issues that arise and implementing solutions to ensure a high level of user satisfaction.
- Prioritize workload effectively with a focus on impact and efficiency.
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members to foster a collaborative environment.
Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience in software development, particularly with web technologies.
- Strong understanding of software engineering practices and the ability to apply them in real-world settings.
- Proficiency in a variety of programming languages and frameworks, ideally those relevant to full-stack development.
- Excellent critical thinking skills, with the ability to solve complex problems and adapt to changing requirements.
- Strong communication skills, capable of effectively articulating technical challenges and solutions to a diverse audience.
