Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Web Developer (m/f/d) for a freelance position with our client in Amsterdam. This role involves working on exciting projects with a focus on developing and implementing new features, creating technical concepts, and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Concept Creation: Develop technical concepts for new features in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Feature Development: Implement new features and document technical solutions and changes using Confluence.
- CMS Expertise: Act as the contact person for all questions related to Storyblok as a CMS and extend the content model in the frontend and CMS to integrate additional content types.
- Content Collaboration: Work with the content team to support topics related to Contentful and coordinate with project partners for implementing tracking, SEO, and cookie management.
Required Skills and Experience
- JavaScript Frameworks: Proficient in using frameworks such as Astro and NextJs.
- JavaScript & TypeScript: Strong skills in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- HTML & CSS: Expertise in using semantic HTML, CSS, and SCSS to build responsive web applications.
- Testing: Experience in unit testing (e.g., Jest, Vitest) and E2E testing (e.g., Cypress, Playwright).
- Accessibility: Knowledge of accessibility best practices (A11y, WCAG2.1).
- CMS Systems: Skilled in integrating and configuring CMS systems like Storyblok and Contentful.
- PaaS Solutions: Experience with PaaS solutions such as Vercel.
- Content Management: Proficient in defining content models in Storyblok and managing editorial workflows, user roles, permissions, and approval processes.
