Join Mediahuis Nederland, one of the largest Dutch media companies, as a Senior Frontend Developer. This role is based in our Amsterdam office, where you will be part of our dynamic digital platforms team. Our team is responsible for a wide range of online titles, including Dumpert, Metronieuws, Autovisie, Manners, and Culy. As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the front-end of our digital platforms.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the current front-end of our digital platforms.
- Design, develop, and implement new features.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and other team members to build a new front-end from start to end.
- Contribute to the success and innovation of all our digital platforms.
What You Will Bring
- Proven experience in web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and CSS frameworks.
- Experience with React and related frameworks, including server-side rendering.
- UX experience and familiarity with graphic tools like Figma and Sketch.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with Google products.
- Knowledge of PHP and WordPress.
- DevOps skills, including shell scripting, various databases, caching, NGINX, CloudFlare, and experience with Docker and continuous integration.
