Freelance Fullstack Developer (Angular, Java)

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Fullstack Developer to join our team, working remotely on a contract basis. This role involves developing and maintaining software applications for DB Systel's Customer Experience CX unit, a part of Deutsche Bahn. You will be responsible for writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, ensuring that software applications meet the client's requirements and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Code Development: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using appropriate software development practices and standards.
• Software Development: Develop software applications that meet the client's requirements.
• Project Participation: Participate in the planning, design, and implementation of software projects.
• Testing and Debugging: Test and debug software applications to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Collaboration: Work with project managers, designers, and other developers to ensure timely and successful project completion.
• Meetings and Updates: Attend relevant meetings and provide regular updates to project managers and team members.
• Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.
• Development Environments: Set up development environments, including continuous integration.
• Technical Presentations: Prepare and deliver presentations on complex technical topics.
• Risk Reporting: Report risks and issues to technical architects and project management.
• Decision Making: Prepare decision-making templates on technical topics.
• Data and API Services: Work with data and API services related to traveler information.

Must-Have Requirements

• Industry Knowledge: 4 years of experience in information systems for railway companies.
• Java and SpringBoot: 5 years of experience in development, application, operation, and configuration.
• JavaScript and Angular: 5 years of experience in development, application, operation, and configuration.
• Monitoring Tools: 5 years of experience with tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Camunda: 5 years of experience in development, application, operation, and configuration.

Preferred Skills

• Communication Skills: 5 years of experience in coordinating with interface partners.
• Agile Methods: 5 years of experience with agile methods like SCRUM or Kanban.
• Project Management Tools: 5 years of experience with Jira Software or Confluence.
• Test Infrastructure: 5 years of experience in test infrastructure and test automation.
• GIT: 5 years of experience in development, application, operation, and configuration.

Language Requirements

• German: Proficient in German, as the project language is German.

Project Details

• Start Date: January 2025
• End Date: End of 2025, with an option for extension
