Job Overview
Amazon is looking for a Front End Engineer II to join the CoSS - SPX team in Seattle, WA. This role is ideal for someone who is excited about helping Amazon grow product selection globally and is passionate about building innovative solutions using the latest technologies.
Responsibilities
- Help define the system architecture, own and implement specific components, and help shape the overall experience.
- Write high-quality, efficient, testable code in leading front-end technologies.
- Design Amazon scale tools to facilitate internal business.
- Build highly available, secure systems.
- Collaborate with some of the best engineers in the industry.
- Mentor other developers.
- Find out what it takes to engineer systems for "Amazon Scale".
- Own and operate the systems that you build based on real-time customer data and demanding service-level agreements.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis).
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience.
- Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node.

The SPX team under CoSS develops services which provide a singular best-in-class set of experiences, fulfilling compliance requirements for sellers. The team works on the premises of building pluggable and reusable experiences and services which are configurations driven and scale to millions of sellers and SKUs.
