Job Description
The Creators organization at Amazon is seeking a talented Front End Engineer II to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building mobile-first websites and applications for Creator Marketing's newest and most innovative products. Our organization manages the Amazon Associates and Influencer programs, aiming to become the world's most desired destination for commerce creators. We support hundreds of thousands of creators by providing personalized insights, recommendations, and high-quality educational content.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain interfaces and services that can be deployed globally, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and UX designers to drive changes to our front-end architecture and framework.
- Design and write reliable, maintainable, and high-performance code.
- Handle ambiguity, make data-driven decisions, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of non-internship professional front-end, web, or mobile software development experience using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- 1+ years of experience with computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience with agile software development methodologies.
- Familiarity with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node.
