Join Consensys as a Frontend Engineer for MetaMask
Consensys, a leader in blockchain and web3 software, is seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to join the MetaMask team. MetaMask is a widely-used crypto wallet and gateway to the decentralized web, serving over 30 million monthly active users. As a Frontend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative features for MetaMask Swaps and enhancing existing offerings.
About the Role
In this role, you will:
- Develop new features and enhance existing ones for MetaMask Swaps, focusing on user needs and integration challenges.
- Collaborate closely with fellow engineers to deliver high-quality releases.
- Engage in research to conceive innovative features.
- Work in a distributed, remote team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build web and mobile products using React and React Native.
- Work on production applications with a focus on frontend development.
- Participate in agile projects and CI/CD setups.
- Write excellent technical documentation.
Ideal Candidate
- 3+ years of experience as a Frontend Software Engineer.
- Experience with mobile development (React Native) and web development (React).
- Familiarity with the Ethereum ecosystem and blockchain technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a remote team.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with back-end development (Node/Express/NestJS).
- Understanding of MetaMask Swaps or other self-custodial wallets.
- Experience with third-party integration (REST APIs, OpenAPI specifications).
- Interest in DevOps topics and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Blockchain/smart contract development experience (Solidity, Ethereum, Web3.js).
