Join Consensys as a Frontend Software Engineer
Consensys is at the forefront of the blockchain revolution, and we are looking for a talented Frontend Software Engineer to join our MetaMask team. MetaMask is a leading crypto wallet and gateway to the decentralized web, serving over 30 million monthly active users. As part of the MetaMask Bridges team, you will enhance the interoperability of the Ethereum blockchain by developing and maintaining cutting-edge solutions that enable users to connect multiple blockchain networks.
What You’ll Do
- Develop innovative features for MetaMask’s bridging solution, focusing on transaction routing and consensus protocols.
- Collaborate with other teams in the Monetization swimlane, such as Swaps and Ramps, to deliver a best-in-class cross-chain bridge solution.
- Work on both mobile and web platforms, using technologies like React Native and Tailwind CSS.
- Write and maintain technical documentation, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all team members.
- Participate in agile projects and contribute to a CI/CD setup.
Ideal Candidate
- 3+ years of experience as a Frontend Software Engineer working on production applications.
- Proficient in mobile development with React Native and web development with React.
- Familiar with component libraries such as Tailwind CSS.
- Experience working in a distributed, remote team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a keen sense of user experience.
Bonus Points
- Understanding of the Ethereum ecosystem, EVM, and various L1s and L2s.
- Experience designing or building cross-chain bridges.
- Interest in blockchain and smart contract development using Solidity, Web3.js, or Ethers.js.
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science or a related subject.
