About the Role
We're seeking a Senior Blockchain Engineer to lead the forefront of real-world blockchain adoption. This role combines deep engineering skills with exceptional interpersonal skills, playing a pivotal role in our strategy to onboard the next billion users to Web3.
What You'll Do
- Dive deeply into our codebase to solve problems spanning from smart contracts to our core node.
- Conduct independent research in your area of ownership, design, implement, and document partner-oriented solutions to our core technology.
- Collaborate closely with core engineers, product, business, and external development entities to effect change.
- Develop a strong understanding of the value zkSync brings to the world, derived by a true mastery of the technology.
- Help partners dive into the ZK Stack and design their products.
- Work with DeFi Blue Chips to help them deploy on zkSync Era.
What We Look For
- 3+ years in backend software development with a deep understanding of software engineering best practices and architectures.
- Experience in Web3 and a track record of success.
- Passion for our mission to advance personal freedom for all.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ownership mindset.
- Excellent understanding of Ethereum.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Extra points for understanding of the EVM, experience with dev tools, experience building protocols, experience with rust.
