Project Overview
The GUARDIAN PROGRAMME – COLLATERAL TRANSFORMATION is a pivotal NorthStar project aimed at achieving several goals. The primary objective is to establish a common Collateral processing backbone across the Firm, integrating various existing systems. This initiative also includes a strategic migration from On-prem hosting to Cloud, alongside meeting regulatory requirements to replace the ACM collateral platform with a new third-party SAAS offering from Cloud Margin.
Contractor’s Role
As a Full Stack Developer, you will be instrumental in the analysis, design, and development of scalable software solutions across the full secure software development life cycle – from conception to deployment. Your role will particularly focus on designing and developing our Webex, but your contributions will span across the platform.
Experience and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Proficiency in Java and React
- Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- Experience with cloud development and deployment
- Familiarity with REST API, Azure Functions, and Event Consumer/Producer apps
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Competence in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with GIT and Docker is advantageous
- Knowledge of integration patterns with Azure services like APIM, Event Hub, Key Vault, App config
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Design and develop effective RESTful services and APIs (microservices and micro-frontends)
- Design detailed technical solutions using the best available technologies
- Consult with business partners on requirements and synthesize into technical requirements and designs
- Work with architects, designers, and enterprise framework groups to ensure solutions meet both business and IT needs
- Ensure non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are considered when architecting solutions
- Ensure code meets standards and is tested appropriately
