Join Boeing as a Full Stack Developer
Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking highly skilled Full Stack Software Developers to join our growing Data Analytics Engineering & Integration team in Ridley Park, PA. This team is at the forefront of transforming how BDS data is sourced, managed, and utilized to unlock insights that drive business growth and optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Develop: Create scalable web applications that enable users to perform self-service analytics.
- Collaborate: Work with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, UX designers, and product managers, to deliver robust analytics solutions.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code across the entire stack, including front-end, back-end, and database layers.
- API Development: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
- Data Processing: Implement and maintain APIs and backend services that process and serve large volumes of data.
- Optimization: Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
- Stay Updated: Keep current with emerging technologies and best practices in full stack development and analytics.
- Agile Environment: Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Required Experience
- Experience Level: 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
- Front-End Technologies: Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Angular.
- Back-End Technologies: Experience with Node.js, Python, and Java.
- Database Management: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Data Visualization: Knowledge of tools and libraries such as D3.js, Tableau, and Power BI.
- DevOps Practices: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration skills.
