Full Stack Engineer - Web Marketing
Overview
We are seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong focus on frontend development to join our dynamic marketing team. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing web strategies that drive revenue and enhance the user experience on our websites.
Key Responsibilities
- Website Development: Work on a global website visited by millions each month, designing and executing front-end and full stack architecture to translate user interface concepts into tangible solutions.
- Experiment-Driven Design: Conduct experiments to test and iterate on hypotheses that can improve performance, user experience, conversions, and personalizations.
- Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and exemplify best practices in coding, testing, and integrating new functionalities.
- Framework Improvement: Enhance our internal frameworks to ensure consistency across our site, including multilingual site versions.
- SEO and Accessibility: Devise solutions that incorporate technical SEO best practices, accessibility, and universal design.
- Analytics and Monitoring: Monitor website KPIs to identify trends and areas of opportunity while analyzing user behavior.
- Web Hosting Management: Occasionally manage web hosting and DNS records.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 3+ years in a full-stack engineering role, preferably with medium to large public-facing websites.
- Technical Skills: Mastery of Next.js or React concepts, modern HTML and CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, GraphQL, and both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Design and SEO: Strong ability to articulate design concepts and principles, with knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Analytics: Experience with platforms such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
- Curiosity and Learning: Inherent explorative curiosity and a passion for continuous learning and self-improvement.
