Higharc is a VC-backed startup revolutionizing the home building industry with cutting-edge technology. We are seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to join our remote-first team and contribute to our innovative product. At Higharc, you'll play a crucial role in developing our interactive, browser-based home design system. You'll work on a diverse range of features, from our core design tools to sales functionalities for builders. We value pragmatic problem-solving and rapid iteration based on user feedback.
What You'll Do
- Design and Implement Features: Use our tech stack, including React, TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, and PostgreSQL, to design and implement end-to-end product features.
- Collaborate with Experts: Work alongside world-class product designers, architects, and CAD system experts to create intuitive and powerful features.
- Develop Key Components: Focus on new modeling capabilities for our browser-based CAD home design tool, product configurators for our sales system, and management and coordination features for home projects.
- Ensure Reliability: Write comprehensive tests to ensure high reliability during deployments.
- Mentor and Grow: Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's growth.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Demonstrated experience building consumer web applications.
- Proficiency: Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and our tech stack.
- Communication: Proactive communication skills suited for a remote work environment.
- Portfolio: An inspiring portfolio of projects (GitHub, personal website, etc.) showcasing your skills.
