Role Overview

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Simplicate, you will play a pivotal role in our QA team. Your extensive experience and technical expertise will be crucial in optimizing work processes, identifying and solving technical challenges, and proactively addressing maintenance needs. You will act as a key partner for your colleagues, actively contributing to various projects and supporting the team in achieving high-quality standards. In this role, you will be a key player in fostering innovation and ensuring quality within Simplicate.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary squads, including back-end and front-end engineers, to achieve sprint goals.
• Automate processes intelligently and provide valuable input by advising on changes before they occur.
• Conduct exploratory testing and automate end-to-end tests using Playwright with TypeScript.
• Monitor specific domains within the production environment and work closely with Product Management, DevOps, and Support.
• Coach and support the QA team to maintain high-quality standards.

Your Team

You will be part of the Engineering team and a member of a Product Squad with other disciplines. Your direct QA colleagues, Kevin and Boyan, form the QA Chapter with you. The Engineering department consists of 16 other colleagues, with our CTO, Daniël, closely involved in your work and development.
