About the Role

As a Back-end Software Engineer at Simplicate, you will be an integral part of our Product Squad ORX, working on diverse projects across various domains. You will collaborate with fellow engineers to deliver new features, refactor existing code, and propose product improvements. Our approach is encapsulated in the mantra: "You build it, you run it, you love it."

Responsibilities

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary squad, including both back-end and front-end engineers, to achieve sprint goals.
Engage in the full software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Participate in code reviews and testing processes to maintain software stability, speed, and security.
Work closely with Product Management to align on strategic goals and deliver outstanding results.
Contribute to the Back-end Chapter by setting standards for code patterns, style, and unit testing.

Your Profile

Proficient in PHP8, with experience in using Symfony and API Platform for business logic development.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns, with the ability to apply functional principles when necessary.
Skilled in developing and integrating APIs, with experience in OpenAPI, REST, and RPC.
Committed to writing high-quality code and tests, with experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD) being a plus.
Enthusiastic, proactive, and ambitious, with a winning mentality.
