What To Expect
This internship position is expected to start around January and continue through April/May. Internships are in-person for 40 hours a week for a minimum of 12 weeks. International students should consult their school regarding work authorization if it is through CPT. You must be able to work 40 hours per week.

About The Team
Tesla is seeking passionate interns who thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to apply CS concepts to real-world projects. Our Mobile Applications Engineering team is responsible for Tesla’s best-in-class mobile app which includes exciting features such as: smart summon, climate controls, keyless entry, and sentry mode.
What You'll Do
- Design, code, and maintain mobile user experiences
- Optimize code for performance, stability, and maintainability
- Work with a cross-functional team of hardware engineers, application/UI software engineers, QA/Validation, and designers
What You'll Bring
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field with a graduation date between 2025 - 2026
- Familiar with Objective-C or Android, JavaScript
- Experience with React/React Native and Kotlin is preferred
- Excellent grasp of fundamental computer science concepts, good at solving complex technical problems
- Experience using common design patterns. High standards for code quality, maintainability, and performance

Expected Compensation
- $36.06 - $50.48/hour + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
