IT Intern Position at PepsiCo
Overview
PepsiCo is seeking an enthusiastic IT Intern to join our team in Cork, Ireland. This is a fantastic opportunity for a student currently studying in fields such as Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Data Analytics. The role offers hands-on experience in supporting various aspects of our business, working with global IT teams, and exposure to cutting-edge technology, applications, and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Support/Development: Assist in the support and development of applications.
- Infrastructure and Network Support: Participate in troubleshooting IT issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Security and Service Management: Maintain IT equipment and PepsiCo employee inventory lists.
- End User Services: Support IT Teams with reporting and analysis for weekly/monthly reviews.
- Project Support: Assist in IT projects being rolled out across the PepsiCo Cork Campus.
- Team Collaboration: Attend and participate in IT team meetings and support PepsiCo’s TY work experience program.
Systems and Applications
The IT Applications/Systems supported by PepsiCo Cork IT include, but are not limited to:
- Microsoft Office 365 Applications
- ServiceNow
- SAP Software Solutions
- Power BI
Qualifications
- Currently studying BIS, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Good understanding of Excel and other Microsoft Applications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to organize and prioritize work effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration.
- Creative and innovative mindset with the ability to bring new ideas and suggestions.
- Comfortable working with both local and remote teams.
