About the Role
Join CHECK24 Vergleichsportal GmbH as a Junior Fullstack Developer (m/w/d) specializing in Node.js and React. You will be part of the team responsible for enhancing our market-leading car rental comparison platform. Based in Augsburg, you will work on a variety of projects, from developing landing pages to implementing self-service features for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with both frontend and backend teams to develop and implement REST APIs and middleware using Node.js.
- Technical Implementation: Take charge of the technical execution of product improvements, developing both the JavaScript backend and web frontends for various devices.
- Optimize Tech Stack: Contribute to the evolution of our tech stack, ensuring it remains state-of-the-art.
- Innovate and Communicate: Implement innovative features in collaboration with product managers, bringing your own ideas to the table.
What You Bring
- Education: Completed training as an IT specialist or a degree in computer science.
- Experience: Initial experience in frontend or backend development and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, as well as Node.js and related frameworks like Fastify, Express, or Koa.
- Mindset: Passion for web development, a keen eye for UI/UX, and a strong quality awareness.
- Languages: Fluent in German and proficient in English.
