About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Lead Blockchain Engineer to join our blockchain team in developing a groundbreaking stablecoin project from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to shape the direction of a new project at its inception, overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of blockchain-based solutions that ensure stability, security, and scalability for our stablecoin ecosystem. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the blockchain engineering team in the end-to-end development of smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps) that will power our stablecoin infrastructure.
• Take a hands-on approach to developing secure, efficient, and scalable blockchain solutions, ensuring that the stablecoin's functionality is built to last.
• Implement and manage smart contracts from scratch, focusing on maintaining price stability, including collateral management and reserve protocols.
• Collaborate closely with product, finance, and compliance teams to integrate the stablecoin into various financial ecosystems and payment networks.
• Establish and enforce rigorous testing and auditing processes for smart contracts to ensure security, compliance, and robustness as the project develops.
• Drive the development of tools and APIs to facilitate seamless integration of the stablecoin with both decentralized and centralized platforms.
• Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies and protocols in the stablecoin and DeFi space, incorporating them into the project as appropriate.
• Optimize blockchain transaction speeds, reduce gas fees, and improve user experience from the ground up.
• Lead the monitoring and enhancement of the stablecoin network’s security, including proactive risk mitigation and incident response.
• Make critical architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and actively contribute to coding and problem-solving efforts alongside your team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in software engineering, with a significant focus on blockchain technologies.
• Proven leadership experience, including managing and mentoring engineering teams.
• A hands-on leader with the ability to contribute directly to the codebase.
• Expertise in blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, or Layer 2 solutions.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Solidity, Rust, Go, JavaScript, or Python.
• Demonstrated experience in smart contract development, testing, and deployment, particularly within stablecoin or DeFi projects.
• In-depth knowledge of consensus algorithms, cryptography, and decentralized finance (DeFi) principles.
• Experience with blockchain scaling techniques, including Layer 2 solutions and sidechains.
• Strong understanding of the economic models behind stablecoins, including collateralized and algorithmic designs.
• Familiarity with security best practices for smart contract development and blockchain systems.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading the development of stablecoin projects from the ground up.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks surrounding digital assets and stablecoins.
• Familiarity with on-chain/off-chain oracles, liquidity pools, and cross-chain solutions.
• Experience with decentralized governance models.
• Contributions to open-source blockchain projects.
