What is the role about?
The primary focus of this position is to facilitate the seamless integration of crypto blockchains into our platform. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the crypto industry, either through implementing payment systems or managing blockchain nodes, along with strong DevOps experience for managing EC2 nodes for in-house solutions.
How will you make an impact?
- Crypto Node Management: Lead the integration of various crypto blockchains into our platform, including deploying and managing EC2 nodes, installing blockchain node software, taking care of monitoring and ensuring continuous updates and maintenance.
- Extending our crypto integrations: Create/manage integrations between blockchain and our internal processing systems for incoming & outgoing transactions.
- Flexible crypto technical tasks: More often than not we need to shift quickly on situations arising in the crypto ecosystem. Think of performing swaps to new blockchains, signing specific transactions on smart contracts to enable our other departments with topics like staking and bridging.
How will you be successful?
- Prior experience in the crypto industry, either through implementing payment systems or managing blockchain nodes.
- DevOps experience, particularly in managing EC2 nodes for in-house solutions.
- Proficiency in deploying and managing EC2 instances using Terraform.
- Experience with Typescript, NodeJS (NestJS)
- Familiarity with Kafka
- Solid understanding of API development and RESTful principles.
- Adaptability and flexibility on issues arising from crypto ecosystems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Nice to haves:
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization technologies.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in the context of blockchain systems.
