Lead Developer Position at bofrost*
Overview
bofrost* is seeking a Lead Developer to join our IT department in Straelen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. This role is ideal for a seasoned developer with a strong background in .NET and Azure, who is ready to lead development activities and drive innovation in our software projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and management of development activities for small to medium-sized projects. This includes prioritizing tasks, creating resource plans, and coordinating with other IT stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to project timelines and deadlines, and communicate these effectively to ensure timely resolution.
- Technical Development: Develop recommendations for the advancement of both frontend and backend systems, focusing on tools, methodologies, and process updates.
- System Enhancements: Plan and execute necessary technical migrations, such as runtime modernizations and new database releases.
- Quality Assurance: Define and maintain metrics to measure development quality in both frontend and backend areas.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to architectural, security, and data protection standards throughout the development process.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent IT-related vocational training.
- Extensive experience in software development, particularly with the .NET framework.
- Proven experience in developing Azure cloud solutions and web frontends.
- Proficiency in using Jira and Confluence.
- Strong knowledge of agile software development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with a focus on quality and results.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
