About the Role
As a Tech Lead Backend DevOps, you will be part of our Customer IT team, which develops and operates specialized IT solutions for over 5 million electricity and gas customers. Our solutions ensure compliance with regulatory market tasks and maximize the efficiency of our service partners in call center operations. Automated digital customer processes and attractive customer self-services are key components of our success.
The Customer IT organization in Germany is divided into seven teams with colleagues in both Hamburg and Berlin. The "Digital Experience" team's product portfolio has significantly expanded in recent years, leading to substantial team growth. We are seeking a Tech Lead Backend DevOps who combines technical expertise with personnel responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse group of highly professional software engineers.
- Ensure competence and capacity building along business requirements.
- Provide technical support in diagnosing and solving operational issues.
- Build and maintain a robust network within the international Vattenfall IT and with colleagues from various departments.
Your Profile
- Academic degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
- Extensive experience as a Microsoft .NET (Core) developer or solution designer.
- Proven track record in leading IT projects or software products.
- Ability to solve short-term operational challenges while maintaining strategic oversight.
- Passion for bridging technical innovation with realized business value.
- Fluent in English and German (minimum C1 level).
