Lead Full Stack Engineer

Overview

Altamira is seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer to join our innovative team in Porto, Portugal. This role is pivotal in developing and maintaining our cutting-edge software solutions that cater to a diverse range of industries including financial, pharma, and retail sectors.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain software using modern frameworks and technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Ensure responsive design for various devices.
Conduct thorough unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Debug and resolve technical issues.
Participate in support for production issues.
Manage and reduce technical debt.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong system design skills.
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
Proficiency in front-end technologies; React is a plus.
Understanding of .NET framework.
Experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL.
Familiarity with Git and branching strategies.
Solid understanding of testing frameworks.
Ability to write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Proficiency in creating design documentation.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Understanding of distributed systems and Agile methodologies.
