Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management

• Lead a team of .NET developers in the creation of high-quality software solutions.
• Assign tasks, set deadlines, and monitor team members’ progress.
• Mentor team members, providing guidance and support to promote professional growth.
• Conduct regular team meetings to ensure communication and alignment with project goals.

Project Management

• Collaborate with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects.
• Plan project timelines and milestones, adjusting as needed to meet objectives.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Technical Development

• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of .NET applications.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and maintenance.
• Review code and architectural designs to maintain high quality and performance standards.

Continuous Improvement

• Foster an environment of continuous improvement by encouraging innovation and exploring new technologies that can enhance project outcomes.
• Stay abreast of advancements in .NET technologies and software development practices.
• Implement best practices for software development and documentation.

Required Experience & Skills

• 7+ years in commercial development.
• 2+ years leading Scrum teams with a solid grasp of Agile methodologies.
• Expertise in .NET 6.0+ (C#) and object-oriented programming.
• Proficiency in Test Driven Development, unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Experience with Microservices, distributed architecture, event buses (RabbitMQ), and message queues.
• Strong understanding of client-server architecture, asynchronous programming, ORMs, REST API, and application logging.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL (MsSQL, MongoDB), Docker, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), DDD and GraphQL.
• Exceptional communication, teamwork, attention to detail, organizational, and leadership skills.
• An analytical mindset with a knack for leading by example.

Desirable Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).
• Experience with CI/CD processes, Identity Providers/SSO (Keycloak), Jenkins, Elastic Search, and performance measurement, and Jira/Confluence.

Location

This position is based in Gdynia, Poland, and is available exclusively on a Polish employment contract. We are unable to support B2B contractors for this role. Only candidates eligible for a direct employment contract in Poland will be considered.
