Position Overview
OPENLANE is seeking a skilled React Developer to join our team remotely. As a React Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining user-facing applications, ensuring a seamless and cohesive experience for our users. You will collaborate with product teams to analyze and refine business requirements, deconstruct designs into components, and provide technical leadership in React and Next.js applications.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product teams to analyze and refine business requirements for applications.
- Deconstruct designs and wireframes into components and deliverable tasks for mobile developers.
- Develop new React components to be embedded into larger client applications using shared components and styles.
- Provide guidance, code reviews, and thought leadership for using React, shared components, and styles.
- Integrate into a mature Next.js application and provide technical leadership to the team.
- Grow your career into roles such as technical leader, team manager, software architect, or product solution engineer.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years of experience with modern JavaScript libraries (React preferred).
- Ruby on Rails experience is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills, including creating and curating technical documentation.
