RAVN Resonance is at the forefront of developing modular augmented reality glasses with a semi-spatial interface. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our innovative team in San Francisco. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of spatial computing by contributing to the development of our RAVN Glass prototypes and the custom spatial operating system that powers them.

Your Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:
- Prototype User Experiences: Utilize 2D and 3D tools to create intuitive user interfaces.
- Develop Applications and System Software: Incorporate real-time data from various sensors to enhance user interaction.
- Write and Test Firmware: Work with SoCs and microcontrollers, using tools like oscilloscopes and signal analyzers for debugging.
- Field Testing: Wear prototypes outside the lab to gather real-world feedback.
- Travel: Occasionally travel to China for EVT and DVT builds.
Who You Are
- Experienced: 5+ years in systems-level programming with languages like Rust or C, and 4+ years in AR/VR application development.
- Firmware Savvy: 2+ years of experience in writing firmware for embedded devices.
- User-Centric: Passionate about designing high-quality user experiences.
- Innovative: Able to find creative solutions to engineering challenges.
- Proactive: Comfortable wearing and testing prototypes in real-world settings.
Optional Qualifications
- Experience in early-stage startup environments.
- Background in creating wearables, with or without electronics.
