About the Role

As a Senior Android Engineer, you will:

Architect and Rewrite Applications: We currently have two mobile applications written in ReactNative: PMcardio for Individuals and PMcardio for Organizations. Your primary responsibility will be to architect and rewrite these applications into Android Native, ensuring shared elements are reusable components.
Ownership and Maintenance: Once the applications are rewritten, you will take ownership of both, maintaining and adding new features. The PMcardio for Organizations app is expected to undergo significant development, while the Individual app will see minor adjustments.
Team Leadership: We plan to hire a second Android Engineer, and you will play a crucial role in leading and mentoring this new team member.
Innovative Development: Explore the potential of running AI components locally on Android devices, utilizing the Android SDK to its full potential, including features like Google Play In-App Purchases and widgets.

Your Profile

Proficiency in Kotlin and Java: Strong skills in these languages are essential. Experience with Python and AWS is a plus.
Passion for Android Engineering: Stay updated with the latest Android developments and have a keen interest in Google technologies.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to debug and fix complex issues, with a strong attention to detail.
Team Player: Understand that great products are built through teamwork and collaboration.
