Role Overview
As a Senior Mobile Engineer at Blacklane, you will be instrumental in enhancing the chauffeur experience through our mobile applications. You will lead architectural design and development initiatives for our Android-based chauffeur app, navigating complex feature ambiguities and mentoring your peers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and development of our Android chauffeur app.
- Mentor and foster a culture of continuous learning among team members.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high code quality.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in mobile technology and integrate emerging technologies into our projects.
- Lead and participate in critical conversations across teams to align mobile products with broader company services.
About You
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to balance engineering and product requirements.
- Proficient in Kotlin and familiar with Jetpack Compose.
- Experienced with Android frameworks, design patterns, and best practices.
- Comfortable with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
