Job Description
Moon Active is seeking a Senior BackEnd Developer to join our dynamic engineering team in Bucharest. As a key member of our scrum team, you will be responsible for implementing new features and enhancing existing code for our mobile games. You will work on building complex, high-scale, and real-time systems using cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, architect, test, and implement features in our core services.
- Build valuable tools to support the game development process.
- Deliver high-quality and well-structured code.
- Develop distributed systems and microservices.
- Create real-time mobile game servers with Node.js and Redis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Unity developers and QAs.
Requirements
- Proven backend development experience in any OOP language (e.g., Node.js, Java, C#).
- Strong familiarity with Node.js.
- Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in NoSQL databases, particularly Redis.
- Experience in high-scale systems.
- Self-learner with a strong can-do attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- High proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript (including ES6).
- Experience working with Scrum teams.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services/infrastructure.
