About the Role
Bitdefender, a leader in cybersecurity solutions, is seeking a Senior NodeJS Developer to join our dynamic engineering team in Bucharest, Romania. This role is pivotal in developing and maintaining high-availability and high-scalability services that are integral to our cybersecurity solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and Maintain Services: You will be responsible for developing and maintaining services that meet high availability and scalability requirements.
- Review and Collaborate: Work closely with the Product Owner and Product Manager to understand and clarify requirements, timelines, and restrictions. You will also review proposed architectures for scalability and reliability issues.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with and support QA teams to ensure the quality of software.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in software development.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of JavaScript and NodeJS, experience with microservice architectures, and familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Redis.
- Methodologies: Experience with Agile development environments.
- Problem Solving: Strong logical and algorithmic thinking.
- Independence: Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is a plus.
- Full Stack Experience: Experience in full stack development is advantageous.
- High Availability Services: Experience in building high availability web services is a plus.
