Sofia Stars is seeking a talented and experienced Backend Team Lead to join our dynamic IT hub in Sofia, Bulgaria. Responsibilities
- Be transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes.
- Hire and train technical personnel.
- Determine project requirements and develop work schedules for the team.
- Delegate tasks and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
- Liaise with team members and management to ensure projects are completed to standard.
- Motivate staff and create a space where they can ask questions and voice their concerns.
- Delegate work and assignments to team members.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and fix technical problems.
- Participate actively in developing new features from scratch.
Requirements
- At least 7+ years of experience in web development, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and ECMAScript 6 standards.
- 3+ years of commercial experience with Node.js.
- Experience with databases such as MySQL.
- Experience with RabbitMQ and Redis.
- Familiarity with GIT version control system.
- Upper-intermediate level of English.

- Experience with TypeScript.
