Role Overview
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing new features, contributing to architecture discussions, and making technology choices. Your expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate will be crucial in enhancing our existing tech stack.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- Contribute to architecture and technology decisions.
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop APIs and build microservices.
- Design relational databases and utilize JPA/Hibernate for database interactions.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Java development, particularly with Spring Boot and Hibernate.
- Strong understanding of API design and microservices architecture.
- Experience in database design and management.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage in pair/mob programming.
