Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Backend Java Developer to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This role is pivotal in developing our core fintech application, which focuses on managing clients' finances, wealth, and budgeting. As a key player in our team, you will contribute to both new development and maintenance of our systems.
Responsibilities
- Tech Breakdown: 70% New Development, 30% Maintenance
- Daily Responsibilities: 90% Hands-On, 10% Leadership
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with frontend developers using Angular to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Utilize AWS for cloud services and infrastructure management.
- Build and maintain APIs to support various fintech functionalities.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- 3+ years of experience with AWS.
- 3+ years of experience with Angular.
- Experience with Kotlin and building out APIs.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience in the fintech or financial services industry is a plus.

Work Environment
This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days on-site in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, GA. The office is located in a vibrant area with access to great restaurants and amenities.
