Position Overview
Navan is seeking a Senior Back-End Engineer to join our dynamic team in Palo Alto, CA. This role is crucial for developing and maintaining the backend services that are vital for our travel and expense management app, which serves customers globally. You will be part of a team that values craftsmanship and developer productivity, pushing features rapidly to enhance user experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement APIs and core services.
- Develop models and business logic for new product features.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to align features with business needs.
- Ensure the quality of features through testing, monitoring, and documentation.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
What We're Looking For
- Solid programming skills and a strong grasp of CS fundamentals.
- 3-5 years of experience in product development.
- Proficiency in Java, AWS, Hibernate, and Spring Framework is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
