Join Softwaregini as a Senior Backend Engineer
Softwaregini is a fast-growing and well-funded B2B SaaS disruptor revolutionizing how companies select and manage their software portfolios. We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team and work directly with our CTO, David, to develop robust systems and user interfaces that drive our business forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with our CTO and cross-functional team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems that are reliable, scalable, and secure.
- Take ownership of projects from conception to deployment, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery.
- Continuously innovate and optimize our backend infrastructure to meet evolving business needs and technological advancements.
Requirements
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience with JVM-based languages, preferably Kotlin with Spring Boot expertise.
- Solid understanding of designing complex architectures and hands-on experience with microservices and cloud architectures.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability, excellent communication skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of German is advantageous but not mandatory.
What’s a Plus
- Knowledge about AI & LLMs, prompt engineering, and vector databases.
- Experience working in a B2B SaaS and/or Startup environment.
- Knowledge about enterprise security requirements and multi-tenancy applications.
- DevOps experience with tools such as Docker, AWS, and Terraform.
