About the Role
Join Unzer as a Senior Software Engineer focusing on backend development for our E-commerce group. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering merchant-facing software products, including plugins, payment pages, and gateways. Your role will involve creating, improving, and testing cloud-based microservices, contributing to software product design, and working with Unzer Tech standards and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance cloud-based microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Write technical specifications and contribute to software product design.
- Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and improve processes.
- Ensure diligent testing and documentation of all deliveries.
- Engage in architectural design and apply common design patterns.
Required Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of experience with Spring Boot and Java 17 or above.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with microservices, messaging, GIT, and Feature-Driven Development (FDD).
- Experience with monitoring tools like DataDog and Open Search.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS cloud platform.
- Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience with Elasticsearch.
