Overview
Join Spotter, a leading innovator in the online audio and video media industry, as a Senior Backend Engineer. This role is crucial for someone with a deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and AI technologies. You will be instrumental in building and scaling our next-generation backend systems.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and resilient microservices, focusing on high-throughput and low-latency requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate requirements into robust, scalable software solutions.
- Implement AI algorithms and models to enhance our Creator Tools suite.
- Help develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments.
- Ensure system reliability by implementing robust monitoring and alerting capabilities.
- Maintain and improve our data storage solutions, including relational and NoSQL databases.
- Uphold best practices in coding, architecture, and security.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our backend systems remain cutting-edge.
Who You Are
- Minimum of 6-10 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus in backend engineering.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Extensive experience in building and maintaining microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Generative AI, OpenAI, LLama2, Stable Diffusion is a plus.
- Strong experience in building microservices using NodeJS and related technologies (Express, NestJS, or other).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform is a plus.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, particularly in the world of microservices.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively across multiple teams.
