Join Our Growing Team as a Senior Backend Engineer
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our expanding team at Inventoryy. As a company specializing in inventory management software for wholesalers, retailers, and online sellers, we are looking for a talented individual to lead and innovate within our backend development team.
About the Role
In this role, you will be primarily focused on Python and Django, leading a team of junior developers on ongoing projects. You will be responsible for guiding our integrations department, handling complex tasks, and ensuring the seamless integration of various third-party services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of junior developers, providing mentorship and guidance.
- Oversee the implementation of full Docker solutions.
- Conduct code reviews to identify improvements and ensure code quality.
- Perform load testing to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Implement third-party APIs and manage integrations with platforms such as eBay, Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, Etsy, Quickbooks, Stripe, PayPal, EasyPost, UPS, USPS, and FedEx.
Required Skills and Experience
- Expertise in Python and Django: You should have extensive experience in developing backend solutions using Python and Django.
- AWS Experience: Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, RDS (PostgreSQL), and S3 is essential.
- Proficiency in Git, Redis, and Docker: You should be comfortable using these tools for version control, caching, and containerization.
- API Documentation and Integration: Experience in understanding and implementing eCommerce API documentation is crucial.
