Role Overview
As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing our software for medical devices, enhancing cancer research and diagnostics. You will work closely with our teams in academia and industry to advance digital pathology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop infrastructure for handling large-scale medical image data.
- Design and implement containerized services for our SaaS platform.
- Ensure reliable and fast data access for machine learning applications.
- Maintain and optimize data processing pipelines.
- Lead technical projects from inception to completion, aligning with business objectives.
- Collaborate with frontend and machine learning teams to integrate new technologies.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality.
What We Look For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field or significant work experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in software development, preferably in a data science context.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with cloud services (GCP, AWS) and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and CI/CD pipelines.
