Your Mission
We are looking for a senior engineer to strengthen our team and help develop and implement new features. This is a highly impactful role, you will be in charge of a variety of systems that directly impact customer experience and helps people on their personal health journey.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable and resilient solutions across the entire product offering.
- Design and build our APIs.
- Work closely with the rest of the product organization to support our customers and community.
- Continuously improve our codebase, systems, and processes.
- Help define our processes, tech stack and system architecture.
Your Profile
- Experience in API development (RESTful) and event driven services.
- Proficiency with Node.js, Typescript and any other prominently used programming languages (bonus points for Go, Rust or Python).
- Experience developing for a containerized infrastructure.
- Experience operating at scale.
- Demonstrable working knowledge of scalable and fault tolerant client/server architecture.
- Experience building and maintaining server/back-end architecture for mobile or PC platforms.
- A habit of writing super-clean, encapsulated, and well documented code in a TDD-fashion.
- Experience with all phases of product development lifecycle, including requirements definition, specifications, development, test, product release, and sustaining engineering.
