Senior Data Engineer
About the Role
As a Senior Data Engineer at OBRAMAT, you will play a crucial role in supporting the technical lifecycle of data, ensuring its integration into the Data Lake, performing necessary transformations, and guaranteeing its accessibility and availability. You will be a key member of the team, responsible for the cloud technical infrastructure of data products and the implementation of data integration and maintenance strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the cloud technical infrastructure for data products.
- Implement strategies for data integration and maintenance.
- Collaborate with business areas to ensure data storage and reuse.
- Implement data transformation strategies, including ingestion and big data processing.
- Document and create architecture standards.
- Improve current integration processes using GCP and legacy systems.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Education: Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or Mathematics.
- Language: B2 level of English.
- Technical Experience:
- Basic knowledge of infrastructures and systems.
- Experience with cloud ecosystems, preferably GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience in building and maintaining cloud integration ingestions.
- Experience in IT systems monitoring and flow management.
- Database management and querying (SQL and NoSQL).
- Experience with cloud ingestion techniques and products.
- Implementation of distributed batch processing (Big Data).
- Experience with streaming queues and Pub-Sub.
- Experience with Google Data Catalog.
