Senior Data Engineer

About the Role

As a Senior Data Engineer at OBRAMAT, you will play a crucial role in supporting the technical lifecycle of data, ensuring its integration into the Data Lake, performing necessary transformations, and guaranteeing its accessibility and availability. You will be a key member of the team, responsible for the cloud technical infrastructure of data products and the implementation of data integration and maintenance strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the cloud technical infrastructure for data products.
Implement strategies for data integration and maintenance.
Collaborate with business areas to ensure data storage and reuse.
Implement data transformation strategies, including ingestion and big data processing.
Document and create architecture standards.
Improve current integration processes using GCP and legacy systems.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Education: Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or Mathematics.
Language: B2 level of English.
Technical Experience:
- Basic knowledge of infrastructures and systems.
- Experience with cloud ecosystems, preferably GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience in building and maintaining cloud integration ingestions.
- Experience in IT systems monitoring and flow management.
- Database management and querying (SQL and NoSQL).
- Experience with cloud ingestion techniques and products.
- Implementation of distributed batch processing (Big Data).
- Experience with streaming queues and Pub-Sub.
- Experience with Google Data Catalog.
