Join Our Data Pipeline Team
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Data Pipeline team. This role involves developing a data pipeline that processes a large amount of data reliably and at a high rate using Python, Go, MongoDB, GCP, and more. You will help improve the efficiency of our workers, monitor, and autoscale our infrastructure, and implement integration with various data storage solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python, Go, MongoDB, and GCP.
- Improve the throughput and reliability of data imports.
- Export data to Google’s BigQuery using Google’s DataFlows and Apache Beam.
- Utilize Data LakeHouse concepts for storing and serving data for analytical use cases.
- Support services in production handling high-volume traffic using Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes.
- Review code and maintain high code quality standards.
Qualifications
- Experience with Python and a solid grasp of engineering practices.
- Experience with Go is a big advantage.
- Knowledge of big data storage and processing using open source technologies.
- Ability to work in a remote-first environment and adapt to new technologies.
