Origen.AI, an AI startup in the energy sector, is seeking a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer for our Madrid office. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security. The position offers a hybrid work model, with some days in the office and some remote.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions.
Collaborate with software development teams to implement and streamline CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient software delivery.
Automate deployment, monitoring, and management processes using tools such as Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes, and Azure.
Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) practices, ensuring consistent and reproducible deployments.
Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and cost-efficiency of cloud resources.
Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, including performance bottlenecks, network connectivity, and resource utilization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements and design solutions that meet the needs of the business.
Interact with customers worldwide, providing technical support and aiding them using and integrating their resources with our SaaS product.
Empower our exceptional scientific team by providing them with the necessary tools to conduct groundbreaking research in the field of reservoir engineering.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
Proven experience as a Cloud DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
Extensive experience with Helm and Kubernetes for container orchestration and management, preferably including working experience with GPU-enabled deployments.
Solid understanding of cloud platforms, with expertise in Microsoft Azure.
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and security practices.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and automated testing frameworks. We primarily use GitHub Actions, but analogous experience in a similar technology will be considered.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a timely manner.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with customers worldwide.
