Job Overview

The Venetian Resort Las Vegas is seeking a Senior Developer - ServiceNow to join our dynamic team. This is an on-site position located in Las Vegas, NV. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, configuration, support, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring alignment with key ITIL processes. This role involves working closely with end users to create and modify process workflows, reports, and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform code reviews to ensure best practices and quality standards are met in coding, integration, extensibility, and security.
• Execute ServiceNow implementation tasks including integration, testing, requirements gathering, and solution design.
• Develop technical and process documentation using the Knowledgebase Module within ServiceNow.
• Resolve support issues within ServiceNow by working directly with end users.
• Communicate ServiceNow processes, operations, and capabilities to management and stakeholders.
• Develop systems integration and process automation, fully utilizing the platform’s workflow capabilities.
• Coordinate integration with on and off-site systems, utilizing resources from other technical teams as necessary.
• Monitor health, usage, and compliance of ServiceNow and its applications, ensuring audit requirements are met.
• Support the design of ServiceNow integrations and collaborate with business partners and technical teams for implementation.
• Identify and define business solutions for ITIL users.
• Facilitate workflow enhancements to the ServiceNow application, including automation and additional self-service features.
• Configure application-related fields, forms, views, email notifications, acceptance roles, and access controls.
• Integrate ServiceNow applications with third-party systems via APIs.
• Analyze system performance issues and determine performance enhancements.
• Set up data security via control rules and domain separation.
• Participate in design, QA/testing, and SCRUM processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Nevada Gaming Control Board registration.
• 3 years of experience as a ServiceNow Administrator or application owner.
• 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
• Experience in a highly regulated environment (MICS, PCI, SOX).
• Training and experience with ITSM practices.
• Knowledge of Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Project Portfolio Management (PPM).
• Experience with web-based development languages integration.
• Understanding of ITIL processes, operations, and procedures.
• Extensive knowledge in scripting/reporting and other classes such as HTML, CSS, XML, Web Services, JavaScript, UI, SQL, Java.
• Experience with API integrations with other systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
