Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer

Roche is seeking a Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer to join our innovative team in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Spain. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing the infrastructure that supports our cloud-based applications, focusing on automation, scalability, and security.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure using tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab CI, Jenkins, and GitHub.
- Ensure the security and efficiency of cloud environments through rigorous configuration management and containerization practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support software development and deployment processes.
- Monitor system performance post-deployment to ensure optimal operation.
Required Skills
- Extensive experience with AWS, including services like EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes and Docker Swarm.
- Strong background in scripting and programming languages like Bash, Python, and Groovy.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) practices, particularly using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, and Ansible.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the healthcare or biotechnology sectors is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
